Tire

Tire is part of an ongoing investigation into form and the complicated nature of the glassblowing process. The original glass bubble is first covered with an opaque glass layer, blown into a mould and finally dipped in colour. Ondřej then masterfully fashions the glass in its malleable state using a suction method. After cooling, the object is mattified by acid etching.
