Pietro Guarneri Viola da gamba
This viola was inspired by an instrument of the José Vázquez collection. The design ornaments are based on the lions of Jacob Steiner, Austrian luthier of the 17th century. Its silhouette is reminiscent of a cello and it is finished with a varnish that Pablo Fernández Romero makes in his workshop using natural ingredients such as lineseed oil and rosin.
