Violin no. 16, Ronda

This concert violin plays a soft and strong sound. The back base tone is G and the top base tone is F. The top arching is quite high and the back is quite flat. This combination gives the instrument both a modern and antique sound. It was built to order for a customer in the US and based on a new musical instrument, the Ronda, invented in November 2016 by Ingars Rancevičs and Artūrs Punte.
