Smarties 03

This entire wall hung clay mosaic was created from a single sized tesserae. The complete ceramic decor is composed of 1144 pieces. The individual pieces were created using plaster moulds and individually glazed by hand with gold glaze. The end result differs from the first project as it takes on its own life while it is built and finally held within a metal frame.
