Gold in the centre

The tesserae, for this wall-hung mosaic were made from low-melting porcelain glazed at 12300C. Individual elements were then gilded using a gold glaze and fired at 8300C. Every single piece is glazed by hand. The composition was created by arranging and sticking the porcelain fragments to the plate.
