Opia

Opia is part of a body of work that challenges human perceptions of glass. Kaja draws much of her inspiration from the iridescent qualities of mother of pearl. After much experimentation she was able to develop a technique enabling her to infuse the soft colours into the silky surface of her glass. Anyone viewing this piece might find it to be warm and welcoming.
