Atraxia

Atraxia is part of Kaja's Otherworldly Bodies series. These works challenge human perceptions of glassware, developing shapes that create a sense of movement. The pieces in this series appear to possess a life of their own. Kaja draws her inspiration from the iridescent nature of mother of pearl, having found a way to infuse the silky surface of her glass with its softly glowing colours.
