Celeste – Nano Hybrida

Aster Cassel made this sculptural porcelain piece, which depicts emerging worlds, using traditional modelling techniques, creating a dialogue between form and figurative brush painting. These biomorphic forms accentuate certain elements of the painting. Aster's universe is distinguished by its graphic narrative style, most often in black and white, contrasted by bright tints. The delicacy of her drawing evokes scientific illustrations or old engravings.
