Celadon glazed plate

This plate is made on a potter's wheel from local stoneware clay with a yellowish green celadon glaze. There are sensitive tiny cracks on the celadon glaze that sit in the rings of the plate. These tell the story of the tension between the glaze and the stoneware. Thanks to the high temperature wood firing, the plate is excellent for professional gastronomic use.
