Bench I Sing the Body Electric 5

This Per Brandstedt seat, deep black in colour, is organically round in shape and mounted on four stainless steel legs. The main body is sculpted from a block of fresh solid Swedish oak. The piece was set to dry and during this process the wood cracked and the shape slightly altered. The surface is scorched, brushed and treated with a finishing oil, enhancing the wood grain and tactility.
