The Source

This three-dimensional canvas, designed by Marta Pokojowczyk, is entirely woven on a loom. It appears as a single decorative sculptural form, a wallhanging, but can also be used to create a larger composition. The sculptural textile is constructed on a loom based on a painting technique of glazing, the application of transparent or semi-transparent layers one on top of the other.
