Large ash vessel VI

Large ash vessel VI is inspired by windswept woodlands and the beauty of found timber. This piece was formed from an English ash, with coloured heartwood, that was sourced from a large tree that fell not far from Anthony's home. It can take up to a year between felling a tree and completing a piece, as Anthony turns the wood when fresh and green, which allows the piece to move and shape as it dries naturally.
