Lotus flower

This decorative piece has been built by means of a union technique as well as by working the fibres manually. Playing with symmetries and the simplicity of design, the esparto grass fibres stick out in three layers to add volume and character to the lotus flower. In the middle, two complementary rattan strips divide the piece.
