Set of Seascape Vessels
These three vessels are made using black and white porcelain created using a process that combines jiggering and throwing techniques. The surface, inspired by the Gower coastline in Wales, captures the movement and flux in this wild and changeable landscape. Each piece is fired at 1260ºC and goes through various polishing stages to reveal tonal layers. Only the interior is glazed allowing the work to be both functional and ornamental.
