Small Wild Cornwall
A hand built ceramic pot inspired by the wild beauty of Cornish hedgerows. The piece is impressed with local leaves and flowers before its first firing, it was then hand painted with glazes and raku fired in an outdoor kiln. The glowing hot pot is removed from the kiln with tongs and placed in sawdust before being left to smoulder. Once removed and cleaned the stunning beauty of the Raku glazes reveal their magic. No two pieces are the same.
