This handcrafted tapestry is one of a series of woven portraits. Lise Frølund includes a colour band to pay homage to both hand loom weaving and screen printing. The weaving is done on a digital Jacquard hand loom, which makes the complex thread construction possible and retains the flexibility of the hand in the weaving process.
