Lana basket

This basket reflects a meeting of ancestral practices, blending indigenous weaving heritage with Gaúcho wool-working traditions. Tiago Braga created the hexagonal base using hand weaving techniques in bamboo, learned from artisans in the Mbyá-Guarani village of Kaaguymirim in southern Brazil. The piece is then finished with a looped fringe of natural wool yarn, an homage to the region’s wool-based textile craft.
