Barn owl

This necklace presents a barn owl in flight, made of sterling silver 925/999 and glass enamel. The owl was cut by hand from silver sheet and the feathers were made using a thin wire embedded in layers of noble enamel. The enamel colours of white, grey and brown were chosen to create a painterly effect.
