Contemporary flowers for exhibition "Nenge Yakumo Saryo"

Neither a traditional ikebana nor a standard Western arrangement, this piece is labelled “contemporary flowers” and is part of Satoshi's exploration of new floristry paths. It's a very simple yet beautifully constructed arrangement, made of tillandsia usneoides (or Spanish moss) in an antique woven iron basket. Satoshi created it for the photographic book “Nenge”, that he co-authored with Shinichiro Ogata.
