Solar Wheel

This sculpture wants to be a tribute to Italy and to the variety of its landscapes and colours. The female face, representing Italy, is embedded in the solar wheel, in perfect harmony with the sea and its ecosystem. This artwork was created modelling a single block of stoneware clay and was hand painted, using engobes.
