This sculpture was made with plant fibre combining two basketry techniques, the result of which was filled and wrapped in reddish mud. This sculpture seeks to resemble the aesthetics of archaeological finds of objects, where the mud covers much of its structure, or the aesthetics of the disaster in the Atacama region, where mudslides happen regularly.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
