Cabeza de toro

The earth colours of this sculpture come from the rock of origin of the native copper and the copper in oxidized state. The oxidation process generates different shades of green, both of the native copper and the copper wire that surrounds it. The shape of this volume can be related in some way to the head of a bull or a deer. The copper wire weave is adhered to the rock by means of the same basket weaving technique used to give it volume.
