Due to its shape, this vase is associated with the musical instrument, the lyre. The main body is carved from burnt linden wood, which includes on one side an abrupt edge, and on the other side an organic, calm one. The two extremities are balanced by the central body, turned from a noble wood, in this case mahogany, which is left in its natural colour. It also has a niche for a handmade glass container in which both fresh and dried flowers can be placed.
