Reproduction of a 14th-century lampas pattern

This piece of fabric is the exact reproduction of a very sophisticated and complicated 14th-century pattern. The lines intertwine in a decorative maze. The colours are also faithful to the original. Colours that were fashionable in those days were red, yellow and the Islam green. As representing human figures was forbidden by Islam, geometric shapes flourished.
