Never Again wins Public choice's Award

The exhibiting craft artists at Homo Faber 2026 had the opportunity to win one of three awards, as voted by visitors of the exhibition via the Homo Faber app, members of the press and the Young Ambassadors. Discover the piece that won the public vote:

NEVER AGAIN
by Christian Burchard, Wood sculptor, USA
This carved madrone wood sculpture was heated and wedged to form pages, before deforming unpredictably as it dried. Resembling weathered books, it reflects on histories, beliefs, ancestral knowledge and silenced voices.

Thank you to everyone who visited Homo Faber 2026 and supported artisans with their votes.
