Woodturning demonstration in Corsica

In his workshop located on the island of Corsica, Jef Nicolier introduces you to the making of wooden pipes and pens. Organised in advance – or directly on site – these visits are a unique moment of sharing with the craftsman. Jef demonstrates how the process of pen turning works by operating his machine. He also presents the different local wood he is using and their individual characteristics. Surrounded by the equipment, the numerous tools and the wood itself, visitors find themselves immersed in Jef's magical workshop. This authentic experience is also an invitation to get an up-close look at his collection of unique wood objects.
