Visit the Marmolejo workshop and museum in Seville

with Fernando Marmolejo Hernández

Discover the Marmolejo ancestry and legacy

The Marmolejo family has been working with metal for more than 100 years. Visitors of the family’s workshop can learn all about traditional Sevillian goldsmithing. Afterwards, at the Fernando Marmolejo Municipal Museum, visitors can learn about the history of the family’s ancestors, their legacy and the link between the Marmolejo family and the Holy Week – the last week of Lent. The workshop is located in the Sevillian town of Santiponce, next to the Roman city Italica, the cradle of Roman emperors such as Trajan and Hadrian, founded in 206 BC by Cornelius Scipio.
