When furniture designer Hans Bølling recently saw his 1958 TRIIIO table finalised in the woodshop of Brdr. Krüger, he called it an “immense joy”. Family run for five generations, the woodshop trains some of Denmark’s best apprentices and brings to life the country’s finest furniture. A 40 minute drive from Copenhagen, scheduled visits offer a 360 degree tour of the workshop and a step-by-step introduction to the materials, tools and methods of woodturning.
