Enjoy a unique experience to the only publicly open glassblowing workshop in Latvia. During the visit, you will not only learn about glass as a material and why it’s significant to the town of Līvāni, but you will also have the chance to see how it’s actually made. Glassblower Aleksandrs Logvins has more than 30 years' experience of working with hot glass. He demonstrates to visitors how objects and sculptures are created from A to Z by blowing air into molten glass. If you're feeling brave, Aleksandrs will give you the opportunity to experience the process yourself, by blowing into the blowpipe and discovering the result.
