During the tour of his workshop, puppet maker Daniel Mauceri will reveal the secrets of puppetry and explain the difference between puppets and marionettes. He will touch upon his family's history around puppetry and reveal how Syracusan-style puppets are made. The tour will start with an explanation of the papier-mâché technique, used to make the puppets’ faces. Visitors will then be able to admire the tools and the embossing and chiselling techniques, as well as some demonstrations of metalworking. The price of the tour for a group of up to three people is 25 EUR. For groups of four or more people, the cost is 8 EUR per person.
