In this five-day seminar, sculptor Jesús Manuel Romero Hernández will explain the different types of sculptures, materials and techniques he uses, as well as present modelling and polychrome decoration techniques. He will describe metal gilding, stewing, and imitation patinas. In parallel to this theoretical presentation, participants will also start to create a small clay figure from scratch. It will be fired in the workshop's kiln. The decoration of the figure will follow. At the end of this course, attendees will be able to take their pieces home with them, along with a certificate of completion. The course is run as 4 hours of tuition each day, for 5 days.
