Ceramics workshop in Saint-Jean-la-Poterie

Luang Rath offers two-day (mostly weekends) ceramic workshops for shops, associations and art studios. Participants are given the chance to work with four different bowls, each thrown by Luang Rath in his preferred Treigny sandstone. A tool kit and inspiration/instruction is then provided; each day offers a new pattern which participants are encouraged to explore. Workshops are slightly customised for each group, abide by Luang Rath’s premise of “no addition no removal (of material) no drawing (work is freehand)”, and foster both freedom and creativity.
