A two-hour sequential art course in Bilbao

In this demonstrative course, Asier Iturralde will explore key comic book storytelling techniques through iconic examples and live drawing. Topics include narrative ellipsis, visual metaphor, graphic symbols and typography. Participants will learn how ellipsis shapes comic narratives, how visual metaphors convey meaning without words and how symbols express motion, emotion, sound and more. The session also covers the expressive power of typography in building mood, tone and rhythm within visual storytelling.
