Hyejeong Ko's creative journey is deeply rooted in her connection to nature, stemming from her childhood on Jeju Island. This formative experience shaped her artistic sensibility, leading her to pursue metalwork for its unique ability to transform cold, hard materials into warm, poetic expressions. Her work, ranging from functional objects to jewellery, is characterised by intricate forms inspired by natural elements. Hyejeong's craftsmanship won her an award at Homo Faber 2024, affirming her position in contemporary metalwork worldwide.
