Set over the Rhône and the Saône rivers, the beautiful French city of Lyon is overlooked by Fourvière Basilica. With a long history in silk weaving, it’s still possible to find weavers and embroiderers in Lyon. The Traboules (covered passageways) of the Old Town were once used by silk merchants.
