Ljubljana

In picturesque Ljubljana craftsmanship is as old as the city itself. In the Middle Ages the city was known for its system of craft guilds for producers of wood, leather and other disciplines, and contemporary Ljubljana remains the craft-and-trade centre of Slovenia, with artisans engaged in millinery, ceramics, woodcarving and lamp making.
