Perseverance, because it takes up to 4,000 hours of work and the involvement of numerous master craftspeople to create a single trunk. Excellence, because the quality and precision required in this exercise mean that no more than 100 pieces can be crafted each year. Founded in Jaipur in 2011 by Paritosh Mehta, Trunks Company embodies the centuries-old artistry of Indian culture and its skilled artisans. Each trunk is conceived as a world of its own, whether it is imagined as a dresser, a bar, a trunk for travel or as a container for games such as chessboards and backgammon.

Every stage of production is executed with meticulous attention to detail and each piece is a work of art with its own identity and distinctive character.
