INTERVIEW
My journey began at art school, where I learned painting, drawing and sculpture. A person introduced me to metal, which piqued my interest. I studied smithing at Nyckelvksskolan, apprenticed in silversmithing, and then joined Konstfack University’s metal department.
My jewellery designs are inspired by daily life and things that puzzle me. Creating helps me think and figure out what matters. It is a way to explore and materialise my curiosity and wonder through my work.
I see trends focusing on personal stories and bold expressions. Artists use narrative to tell their stories through their crafts, drawing from their backgrounds and roots. Craftsmanship is also crucial, ensuring that pieces are skillfully crafted.
Make and see what happens! Enjoy the process. Be brave and bold, channel your energy into your work, and spend time honing your craft.
