Vibrancy in poetic landscapes

  • Marta creates narrative scenes with a strong chromatic identity
  • Meditation plays an important role in her making process
  • She aims to convey different sensations through her work

Marta Fofi’s hand drawn pieces emerge from a deep connection with the Mediterranean landscape, its light, colours and natural rhythm. By illustrating scenes that invite contemplation and deep reflection, she explores the relationship between nature and daily life. “I use colour and visual storytelling as tools to convey feelings of calm energy," Marta explains. Her compositions combine figurative and symbolic elements, which builds a universe where the everyday and the poetic coexist in balance. Marta understands illustration as an expressive language meant to be experienced and shared. "Through my craft, I always maintain a connection to place, personal sensitivity and human experience," she explains.

Marta Fofi is a rising star: she began her career in 2017.

INTERVIEW

From a very young age, illustration was a natural way for me to understand the world and tell stories. Over time, this habit turned into a life-long practice.

I started gradually, working on small personal projects and collaborations. At first, it was an intuitive exploration, but over time it became a consistent practice. Developing my own visual language was key to establishing my professional path.

I specialise in creating narrative scenes with bold colours. I am interested in building visual worlds where each element carries meaning and contributes to a clear emotional atmosphere.

Today more than ever, remaining authentic and sincere is what distinguishes a work created by artificial intelligence from one made by a human being. The value lies in the experience, intention and emotion behind each piece.
