INTERVIEW

My works are created in different styles, shapes and sizes, but for me they are always one and the same: capturing, that is, freezing a moment in time, a special atmosphere and emotion that cannot be described in words. They represent the creation of objects as a search for the true essence of feeling and movement.

Solitude and hard physical work, but also freedom and independence. Excitement and surprises – both good and bad – and the ability to be true to myself and to communicate with others through my work on different levels. Endless possibilities for exploration and creation.

Working with ceramic material is intensive work – a living experience full of surprises and challenges. By modelling those magical materials – clay and porcelain – materials that change their structure, size, and colour through a technological process, I try to capture the true essence of life.

More important than prizes and awards is my personal satisfaction with my work and the opinions of people whom I highly respect. However, rewards are a good boost for confidence and motivation as long as they are not taken too seriously.
