Floral jewellery

  • Kostyantyn creates botanical-inspired jewellery
  • He opened his first studio in 2014 and founded his label FLORA™️
  • He emulates floral patterns through complex chemical processes

Kostyantyn Lisakovskyi has felt a special relationship with the floral world ever since childhood. As he got introduced to mineralogy, and later chemistry, his passion for plants started shaping into something more than just a hobby. Before fully entering the craft world, he obtained a chemical engineering degree, trained at a metallurgical enterprise, and even worked as a top manager of a transnational company. But the childhood passion for plants persisted and in 2014 Kostyantyn opened a jewellery studio and dived headfirst into the exciting world of artistic metalwork. Kostyantyn produces beautiful rings, bracelets, earrings and pendants, that are a true testament to his mastery of forging and delicate understanding of the craft.

Kostyantyn Lisakovskyi is an expert artisan: he began his career in 2015.

INTERVIEW

Yes, it is. Directly and very strongly. I use real plants that I collect in Ukraine and in other countries of the world as a matrix form for my objects. Each ornament is a manifestation of the plant’s soul and the place where it is found.

By creating my jewellery pieces, I direct people's views toward the beauty of nature that surrounds them. In my work, I use both artistic techniques of working with metals and technological processes in the field of electrochemistry.

Once a man came to my studio with his little daughter. She was holding a four-leaf clover in her hand. I was afraid of losing the leaf during the process, but I promised the child that she would receive a silver pendant in the form of this leaf. I fulfilled my promise and the girl was very happy.

Do not be afraid of difficulties. Failures are just lessons that fate sends us. Therefore, I would advise everyone to work hard and a lot. The more you work, the sooner the results of your work will bring pleasure to people and, of course, to you.
