Over 300 years of glassmaking legacy
Gordiola was founded in 1719, and since then eight generations have been at the helm of the manufacturer, making it the fourth oldest company in Spain. Throughout the centuries, the workshop has become part of the cultural and artistic history of this ancient craft both in Mallorca and the rest of Spain, as well as internationally, attracting renowned artists and designers from different parts of the world. Gordiola artefacts are part of the deeply rooted culture and tradition of Mallorcan homes.
It can be said that everything related to artistic glassmaking in the Balearic Islands is owed to Gordiola. The historical and artistic heritage left by the previous seven generations has endured over time and demonstrates its importance. Their unique blown glass pieces, shaped by the ingenuity and inspiration of artisans and master glassmakers, give their works a particular charm. Gordiola has a personal and distinctive touch, thanks to the originality of the shapes and colours of their pieces.
