G Lab Milano is a creative design and craftsmanship studio. It was founded in 1998 by Davide Damiano Grosso, supported by a team of skilled artisans, and joined by Giampaolo Celada a few years later. Specialised in custom-made metal work, the studio also crafts wood pieces and works closely with designers and architects out of the Milan workshop, based in a lively neighbourhood where artisan businesses still thrive. Davide and Giampaolo's creations blend their artistic vision with quality and functionality.
The making process is a skilled and tailor-made interpretation of the client brief. At G Lab Milano, each product is carefully crafted, creating a unique and compelling design experience. Metal is interpreted as an eclectic and living material, to be loved, forged, tamed and painted, using traditional techniques. The studio presents a core offering of bespoke furniture such as tables and coffee tables, chairs, screens, and lamps along with a collection of decorative objects and sculptures, inspired by nature and graphic elements.
