The Rainbow of Forms Carpet

This carpet was designed by Es Devlin and crafted by Jaipur Rugs. The monumental oval was hand knotted from wool on a nine-metre loom, then dyed, washed, backed and bound to ensure structural stability while preserving the pattern. Drawing on Goethe’s Theory of Colours in 1810, the piece brings the study of colour into dialogue with exceptional Rajasthani craftsmanship.
