These frames by Laura Dalla Vecchia feature hand embroidery with cotton thread on preserved dried leaves. Celebrating the biodiversity of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest and the natural heritage of the Paraná coast, the pieces portray native bird species, including several threatened with extinction. The depicted birds are the Restinga Tyrannulet, Marsh Antwren, Scarlet Ibis, Red-tailed Amazon, Green-headed Tanager and White-bearded Manakin.
