Budding Lychee

This hand carved wooden sculpture combines a lychee and a budding shoot. Its rounded body has raised dimples dotted in blue, while a curved stem supports a yellow-green bud. Red, ivory, green and purple tones blend across the surface. The piece belongs to the series called Fruit.
