Copper, Gold, Porcelain
This vessel by Jaiik Lee was crafted from hand formed copper panels joined by spot welding. The surface was finished with porcelain colouring and gold leaf, while the seams and weld marks were intentionally left visible. Evoking a living organism in a state of growth and transformation, the work explores the generative force of life. Its swelling form captures a moment of becoming, expressing vitality, resilience and continuous change.
