Esposto in A FULL MOON RISING
Stoneware
These sculptures by Deimantė Maciūtė were hand built from stoneware using coil and slab techniques. The surfaces were shaped with metal tools, decorated with white engobe, and left unglazed. Emerging from an intuitive dialogue between form, material and unpredictability, the works balance soft organic lines with a raw tactile surface.
