This is an entirely handmade sphere, made with mahogany wood that is worked on a lathe, shaped by hand until it achieves a perfectly spherical shape. Luigi D'Amato then decorates the surface freehand using a micromotor fitted with extremely fine tips, allowing him to trace an intricate floral pattern.
