This is an entirely handmade maple wood box. Wood is turned on a lathe and reduced to a thickness of just a few millimetres. The decoration is then carved freehand using a micromotor fitted with extremely fine tips, less than a millimeter in size, allowing Luidi D'Amato to trace the intricate arabesque pattern directly onto the wood's surface with exceptional precision.
